Jasmine is a cybersecurity and data privacy expert with over 30 years of experience working in highly regulated industries. She also brings a realistic approach to managing security & privacy for smaller companies that don't have a large budget. This presentation will talk about the legal requirements, and what you should do to protect your customers' personal data even if the law doesn't apply to you. We will outline simple, practical steps you can take in small businesses and provide an intro to more complex technical controls for larger organizations.

"Outing" is the nonconsensual disclosure of a person’s involvement in kink, ethical non-monogamy, or other alt-sex behaviors. Referrals and business are shared, but information about a person's involvement in any alternative lifestyles is not shared without explicit consent. Outing people will result in an immediate ban and reporting the ban to other lifestyle admins/group owners.
